This is a simple-to-use hydrogen gas sensor, suitable for sensing hydrogen concentrations in the air. The MQ-8 can detect hydrogen gas concentrations anywhere from 100-1000ppm. This module provides both digital and analog outputs. The threshold level for digital output can be easily adjusted using the preset on the board. MQ-8 sensor module can be easily interfaced with Microcontrollers, Arduino and etc.
Try and avoid alcohol, LPG, cooking fumes as the sensor has a slight sensitivity to these substances and this may affect results. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted by using the potentiometer. It needs a bit of time to warm up in order to work correctly.
