- Uses a wide voltage LM393 comparator
- Detection range: 760nm~1100nm
- Lighter flame test distance of 80cm, for the greater flame, the farther the distance test
- The detection angle of 60 degrees or so, particularly sensitive to the flame spectrum
- Sensitivity adjustable (shown in digital potentiometer adjustment)
- The comparator output signal clean, good waveform, driving ability, more than 15mA
- With adjustable precision potentiometer sensitivity adjustment
- Working voltage of 3.3V-5V
- Output format: digital switching outputs (0 and 1)
- A fixed bolt holes for easy installation
- PCB Size: 3.2cm x 1.4cm
[N.B: It may also come with 4 pins where the output types are: DO digital switching outputs (0 and 1) and AO analog voltage output. It is random as it depends on the Chinese supplier.]
This Flame Sensor can be used to detect fire source or other light sources of the wavelength in the range of 760nm - 1100 nm. It is based on the YG1006 sensor which is a high speed and high sensitive NPN silicon phototransistor. Due to its black epoxy, the sensor is sensitive to infrared radiation. In firefighting robot game, the sensor plays a very important role, it can be used as a robot eyes to find the fire source. When detected the flame the Signal LED will on and the D0 output LOW voltage level.
